Singing and drama games are a great way of developing attention and listening skills. Through joining in with familiar songs and actions, your child can learn to anticipate, wait, take turns, listen for familiar words and phrases and follow a sequence of actions.

Spend time choosing and singing your favourite action songs such as ‘Happy and you know it’ and ‘Heads, Shoulders, Knees and Toes’, or play a game of ‘Follow the Leader’ or ‘Simon Says’.
